Hi my name is Bonita, welcome to my site.

On the 17th of May 2010 I became the youngest British woman to climb Mount Everest. Having decided eighteen months ago that I wanted to climb Everest, my family's response was "You've never climbed before, why of all things do you choose to climb the highest mountain in the world?" But, despite their initial misgivings, they have been incredibly supportive of me throughout the journey.

I was also very fortunate in finding sponsorship. Early in February I signed up with Mobile Phone Top-Up at an ATM who sponsored me on my Everest challenge and helped support Global Angels.

I hope to continue inspiring young people, not only by embarking on my new challenge, but by visiting corporations, schools and charities to talk about my experiences. I am an average girl, who took on a big challenge, and didn't give up on a seemingly impossible goal.
